Wright was very clear on one point, which I did agree with wholeheartedly. “God intended his world to be ordered, not random”. Everything in nature has order. Everything has a form, everything has a shape, a color, a name, a classification—something. One thing that I can predictably agree with Wright on is this point: that God does not make junk.
The current essay looks at the religious views of Catholicism and Christianity, specifically Jehovah's Witness Christianity. Catholicism has very strict views on the use of birth control, whereas there is a less restrictive view on the issue. A big debate that has been in the news in the past few years has been hospitals' dispensing of the Plan B pill.
