Depending on the type of organization, the factors may vary.

If I was the CEO of Coca-Cola, I would respond to concerns about the company by assigning a marketing team to help restore the image of Coca-Cola. This team would focus on presenting a positive side of Coca-Cola to the news media and also follow up on any complaints immediately ly. The emphasis would be to create a friendly image to the public that represents Coca-Cola’s ethics and values.

I think that the social work that Coca-Cola is doing is great because many people do not even realize that it is going on. Their heart is sincere so I don’t think that they are doing it to simply “look good.” Things like HIV/AIDS really make a connection with the average everyday person because these issues are the types of problems that people continually face. If Coca-Cola can maintain its environmentally-friendly image, then the company’s success should be in no doubt.
