By 2007, Haier had opened branches in over 100 countries all over the world. The company has relied on a globalization strategy to gain much success.

A company with strategies is destined for success. Haier is a company that laid down very crucial plans. In 1990, the company began specializing in international strategy. It did so by opening branches in Europe, especially Germany. After entering Germany, the company knew the importance of technology and incorporated it into its system. The managers even got the name "Haier" from a technological supplier. The company then laid down strategies that would expand its name in China. It is after the company acquired the ISO certification. Raising its name both nationally and internationally helped boost the growth of Haier. Currently, the company commands a 30% share of the global market.

Internal strategies

Haier had an ambition of reaching greater heights, from the start. The company had various internal strategies that helped the company reach greater heights. The company hired competent professionals to work in its departments. Haier never experienced delays due to a lack of workforce. The company took advantage of poor-performing industries by hiring their top employees. The employees produced their best while working for Haier (Kayani 2013, pp 100).

The company concentrated on training the employees. The workforce always underwent refresher courses on how to tackle competitors and produce the best home appliances. By ensuring there is the best training, the management was creating an effective workforce. A well-trained employee would not require strict supervision. Furthermore, the employee would be equipped with basic virtues like honesty. The company had the best transparency when it came to transactions (Lin 2005, pp 4).
