However, this biblical event was depicted differently throughout different periods of the history of civilization.

If in the Middle Ages humanity was more inclined to treat Christ to be harsh, non-emotional, and cold, the rise of the Renaissance period brought the outlook on his divinity throughout the different perspectives. Christ was treated as a compassionate, humorous, and inspirational spiritual public figure that deserved successful appraisal on the part of the audience. Even as for the soldiers that crucified him, he revealed the best attitude of the divine being before the event of the crucifixion.

It is worth to mention that the role of Christ and his behavior within his timeline of life play an important role in the development of the biblical understanding of realities.
