Healthcare Policy And Its Effectiveness Delivering timely and quality health services is an inclusive process that involves many organs in a given country. These include the medical practitioners, legal professionals and the society among other players. This paper will address the roles of local states, global regulatory and accreditation agencies in the provision of quality health care. I will also discuss the political processes and grassroots legislative efforts to influence healthcare policy and advocate for diverse populations at local, state, national and global levels.

Accreditation agencies have an important role to play in ensuring that medical practitioners are qualified therefore not putting the lives of patients at stake. In all states, one has to be registered with an accreditation body which comes after passing certain examinations and proving your competence. These agencies also bear the role of championing for their grievances. These include pay crisis and the roles of each in the medical field. They also determine the requirements in the market which helps in the development of the course outline in the colleges and universities offering the courses (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, web) In many states and countries, the health sector is managed free from political processes which derail the provision of quality health services to the society.

The payment of medical practitioners is done by the national or state government. The establishment and development of policies that govern the health sector is a gradual process that include the medical stakeholders and the government (Skolnik, 2012, p. 263-267).. Due to the sensitivity of the matters affecting health, it is always advisable that the policies be set by the professionals in the field with consultation from the legal administrative officers in the region.ReferencesSkolnik, R. (2012).
