The paper "Rwanda - Country Risk Assessment" is an outstanding example of a business literature review. Rwanda is among the developing countries in Africa. Rwanda has been ranked by the World Bank as the second-best country in Africa, the country with a low level of corruption, and as a country that is enjoying strong economic growth. The paper will, therefore, consider Rwandan special economic zones and the various opportunities available for a business to thrive well in this country. The paper will also describe how the Samsung Company has managed to excel in this special economic zone (SEZ). It will also analyze the competitors of the Samsung Company and how Samsung has managed to emerge the best company (ALEXANDER, 2012). In the achievement of the SEZ development, Rwanda has employed a number of strategies which will be highlighted in this paper. The paper will not only highlight the strategic plans but also the scopes of the SEZ activities, both private and public participation in the SEZs within the country, and also the zone benefits. The paper will also explain why Rwandan SEZ has been preferred by much foreign direct investment, the country’s policies that have been put in place with an aim of improving economic growth. According to Lim, et al. (2013) the government of Rwanda (GoR), has also streamed lined the infrastructural growth. The paper will also explain how the GoR partner with the Samsung Company in order to improve telecommunication. The paper will also address the importance of signing common external tariffs, to both the external and internal investors. It will also highlight the opportunities that arise within Rwanda and other east African countries as a result of signing CET. The opportunities arising are beneficial to both FDI and the local citizens. These advantages will include, business opportunities, training programs among other constructive prospects. Rwandan citizens have a negative notion of china products.
