From my study, I have gained adequate information in various specialists areas, which embrace:
- Risk management.
- Petroleum economics and contracts.
- Environmental management.
- Project management.
- Human resource and strategic management.
- Renewable energy.

In addition to the information I have on Oil and Gas Management, I have also a certificate that accredits me to deal with matters concerning the management of the health and safety of employees in an oil field. Hence, equipped with adequate expertise meant for managing and being a leader in this globe’s dynamic as well as fastest growing sector.

I also have some knowledge of first aid. At the oil fields, with ease and heightened precision I can assist in handling minor casualties that entail immediate intervention before being taken to specialized treatments. Generally, I can assist the medics in maintaining and checking stocks of emergency supplies, inspecting both cooked and raw foods, and testing the supplies of drinking water to determine whether they are clean.

Enrolling in the Oil and Gas program will help equip me with the skills needed to support various professional or management careers in the worldwide petroleum industry. The program offers comprehensive as well as advanced information regarding both the upstream and downstream operations of a petroleum firm. The program also stresses my need to focus on exploring emerging technologies and major challenges, which affect the future, exploration, and production of oil and gas. Additionally, the program focuses on pivotal issues for Petroleum industry professionals/managers such as health and safety management, a petroleum economics and contracts, and project and quality management.

Therefore, from the program, I will enhance my employability by focusing on the study of careers pathways such as (Weaver, 35):
- Finance and Investment.
- Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Technology Management.
- Law and Policy.

Certainly, the program is ideal for me since I have an interest in careers that deal with energy and hydrocarbon; more specifically oil production, processing, and transactions. The program, therefore, is likely to enhance my commercial, non-technical, and technical skills.

The program will help prepare me for the challenges in the worldwide employment market as well as develop or strengthen the broader professional and personal skills that I will acquire as I advance in this field. Furthermore, the program offers practical career workshops and to its participants a prospect to experience various business cultures. Therefore, I am likely to gain much more experience.

I have decided to enroll in Oil and Gas Technology program so that I may in the future get a rewarding career in the oil industry; an energy and hydrocarbon sector with immense global growth (Weaver, 35). I believe that by joining this program I will have opportunities in various career pathways at both multinational and national energy industries, international energy agencies, consultancies, and energy ministries investment banks.
