The few who use this channel have distrust in administrative bodies’ mechanism to solving disputes and hold several pessimistic views on the administrative remedies because they do not know what kind of treatment to expect or whether bribery shall take center stage and influence the delivery of justice, and that the remedies swing from one side to another that nobody knows where it’s rooted. And thus many people often ignore or just don’t know or care about the remedies provided by the administrative bodies.
It is from this background that this study seeks to enlighten on public participation, and how they can access these remedies without any obstacles.

Administration laws are often centered on the core organs of the administration as the enforcement agency of the laws and ignore the people to whom they shall apply, in my view the laws relating to administration should be decentralized i.e. given to the citizens who use them so as to be aware of the possible remedies in case of dispute, this shall increase their participation in the making, amendment and even enforcement of the laws. These laws can be made available to the public through various means such as handbooks, brochures, internet sources and advertisement banners. And there should be civic education on the laws telling the public what, how and when the laws shall be applicable and to what extent and reason of their applicability. As a result of these, there shall be rejuvenated confidence and trust in the administrative bodies due to knowledge of the procedure and rules to be used in solving administrative disputes.

Another issue that affects the administrative justice system is its accessibility. That due to little knowledge about the laws governing the administrative bodies, corruption and their forever changing stands on issues many find it difficult to access the system. However, the following measures can be taken to ease public access to the administrative remedies:
Promotion of new policies in administration- this can be achieved by clear laws on the rights of the parties and their responsibilities, placement of ways to prevent conflict of interest issues and regulation of the administrative procedures on dealing with matters (Banyara, S 2005).
Improve on the existing laws- these laws should be made clear and precise and their enforcement mechanism should be adjusted. The anti-corruption body should prosecute corrupt officials to remove the fear of the vice in administrative bodies.

Transparency- All the procedures of the process should be made public and clear to the parties involved to avoid doubts as to the competence of the process.
Public participation in the policy-making process- will make it a people-owned process and result in policies that are convenient and public friendly and thus eliminate the fear of using imposed laws against their will. Increase information accessibility- this will make sure that all parties know their rights in the administrative process and can’t be infringed by anybody.

In summary, administrative justice faces low popularity in the public domain due to the abuse of the powers by the officials and public unawareness, but through active public involvement in the process and assurance of fair process in justice delivery, then, the system shall receive an enormous endorsement as opposed to the use of courts which are expensive and takes longer time to provide a remedy.
